What this site is, and is not
What it is
- A free quote-request site for homeowners.
- A referral service. We send your request to one independent local tree company. We may be paid by that company, never by you.
What it is not
- Not a tree company. We do not cut, trim or remove trees, or employ crews.
- Not a bidding list or a booking service. Nothing is booked for you.
Before work starts, ask the company for a certificate of insurance and a license number. More about who runs this site.
How it works
- Send the short form. Your town, the job and a number to reach you. Add an email to get a confirmation.
- One company contacts you. A single independent company that serves your area gets in touch, usually within one business day.
- You decide. The company gives you a price, often after seeing the tree. You can say no, and you never pay us.
Find your town
We serve all 25 Middlesex County municipalities plus nearby towns in Union and Somerset counties. Choose yours for local notes, the town's permit rules and the quote form.
Do I need a permit to remove a tree?
Sometimes. Rules are set locally. New Jersey has no single statewide permit, but state stormwater rules led many towns to adopt their own tree removal and replacement ordinances, and some require a permit even for a tree on your own lot. Each town page has a permit note. When in doubt, call the town before the crew arrives.
